Are tastings free?

Yes, for up to six people. The tasting is our gift to you and an investment in obtaining your business.

How much should I order for my event?

When we start to plan your catering order, you will be presented with meal options and packages that are divided per person. This will make it easier for you to determine just how much food to order! Options include per plate, or larger buffet amounts that will feed multiple guests per tray of food.

How much is catering per person?

This is very dependent on the event and the number of guests. It could be $10 each for a few hors d'ouvres, $12-$17 each for a catered lunch, $25 and over for a large evening meal event. Ingredients, preparation time, event location and equipment needs, and staff needs all play into quoted prices.

What is the difference between corporate and special events catering?

Weddings, anniversaries and general parties fall into the category of special events, whereas corporate events include meetings, conventions and summits. Clients hosting special events will have more of an emotional connection to what we create for them.

Why is wedding catering so expensive?

When you hire a caterer, you are not only getting food, but service as well. Fees rolled into this include wait staff, setup, vehicle costs and more. Especially if you are having a large wedding, ingredients, preparation time, event location and equipment needs, and staff needs all play into quoted prices.

What is included in wedding catering?

This is dependent on what you need. We always keep site preparation to a minimum, set up, serve, and clean up all the dishes, leaving the event site as clean as when we got there. We do not have wait staff on weekly payroll, but will procure wait staff and bar staff for you if you need us to. We will only charge for them what they charge, no more. Any other rentals of equipment, say a large BBQ unit, will be discussed and worked into the price.

Tips? How much?

We don't ask for gratuity. Servers and bartenders are customarily tipped for a job well done.

Why hire a caterer?

The short answer is: because we what we’re doing. We have a NB Public Health inspected facility to prepare the food in. We observe good and safe practices when handling food. We have insurance. How far in advance do I have to book wedding catering?

The sooner in better. Many couples book a year or more in advance! When you know who you want, do not hesitate to book them. Often, Mind Full Of Food Catering and Culinary Services is more in demand than the individual venues are, and we've served in almost every venue in the region, so it may be to your advantage to book us first!

Can you accommodate allergies and special dietary requests?

Yes. We try hard to include everyone while keeping everyone safe and confident that their dietary needs and wants are respected, whether it is an allergy or any other need. That is the beauty of catering—you meet with us and together we create the perfect meal for your function or event!
